SummUR Celebration is here for 2026!

Join us for an afternoon of entertainment, connection, and celebration.

As we approach the end of the term, we invite you to join us for a special staff and faculty appreciation event to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together.

This summer gathering is an opportunity to pause, connect, and enjoy time as a community. The event will feature catered lunch stations, light entertainment, and a relaxed atmosphere—a chance to step away from the day-to-day and celebrate the collective efforts that make our work possible.

We are also proud to partner again with Feed More as part of this event. Feed More supports neighbors across Central Virginia by collecting, preparing, and distributing food to those in need. Their network provides nourishment and hope to individuals and families facing hunger. A list of their most-needed items is available, and we encourage you to contribute to the collection drive at the event.

We hope you’ll take this opportunity to gather with colleagues, reflect on the semester, and enjoy a well-deserved moment of appreciation.
