Elevate: Manager Essentials is a new lunch and learn series which aims to foster collaboration, empower managers, and provide a few practical tips and tools about those essential skills needed to connect and lead your team. Each session is standalone; come to some or come to all.

  • Onboarding | July 22
    Research shows that 89% of employees report being engaged at work following an effective onboarding experience. When a new employee joins your team what should the onboarding process look like? In this session, managers will receive resources to assist in an effective onboarding experience for all involved.
  • Connecting through Conversation | August 21
    A mini-version of our Helping More Things Go Right workshop, you'll leave this session with a glimpse of what it means to connect through conversations with your employees. What are the basics to initiating important conversations with confidence and empathy? How do you build trust and rapport to create a foundation for open communication?
  • Coaching & Developing | September 23
    Team performance can be impacted by individual coaching and the development of team members. You'll learn what kind of questions to asked, what the difference between coaching and managing is, as well as opportunities to engage others in this process.
  • Managing through Change | October 27
    Change can be hard, no matter how large! How do managers not only navigate the change for themselves but manage their team from one state to another? From communication to problem solving, managers will walk away with tips for change management from a team perspective.
