No, but you may request documentation from the employee confirming the scheduled dates for jury duty.

May my temporary employee be paid for jury duty?
No, temporary employees do not receive paid leave time.

How should employees report time in Bannerweb?
Employees should key Jury Duty in their timesheet or leave report. Since Jury Duty is not an accrued leave type, time taken for this purpose will show in leave balances as a negative in the miscellaneous category.

Does my employee need to reimburse the University any payments they receive for serving on a jury?
No, traditionally any payment received is reimbursement for lunch or parking.
