Summer Youth Programs

The University is currently in the Lime Stage of our Physical Distancing Framework. The University reserves the right to cancel the Summer Youth Programs at any time for the safety of our campus community.

Program Descriptions

The University’s Summer Youth Program offers week long camps for children (rising Kindergarten – rising 8th grade) of full-time employees. These programs, which are educational in nature, will be administered by Little Scholars.

Programs will run from June 21 - August 3, 2021 and will operate from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm each day camp is in session. No camps will take place the week of July 5.

  • To ensure a smooth registration, please make sure that your eligible dependents are listed in Banner Web. Enrollment in the summer youth programs will not be processed without the required documentation. (If you participated in the 2020 dependent verifiction process or are a recent hire who submitted required documentation, you do not need to repeat the process.)
  • There is no cost to employees for enrollment in these programs, but registration for each child using the Little Scholars online registration portal is required.
  • Employees must use their University email address for registration.
  • Enrollment in these programs does not use tuition remission credits.

Cancellation Fees

If your child is enrolled in a camp and will be unable to attend, please notify Little Scholars as soon as possible. This will allow those who are on the wait list to take advantage of the vacated spot. Please see below for important information regarding applicable cancellation fees.

  1. No additional fee will be charged if you cancel a camp by May 14, 2021.
  2. An administrative fee of $50 per child, per week will be charged if you cancel a camp after May 14, 2021. This fee will be deducted from the employee’s next paycheck.
  3. If a participant does not provide cancellation notice prior to the start of a program and the participant does not attend the program, a no-show fee of $100 per child will be deducted from the eligible employee’s next paycheck. Exceptions will be made for a child’s illness if a legitimate doctor’s note is provided.

This cancellation policy does NOT apply to Before and After Care.

Little Scholars Virtual Learning

Employees may choose to enroll their dependents in employee-paid virtual learning opportunities, also hosted by Little Scholars, throughout the year.
