Leadership Practices

About the Program

Leadership takes practice. Developing new skills—and maintaining existing ones—takes intentionality, opportunities to learn, and support from others. This program aims to help managers on their leadership journey by providing participants with the opportunity to learn more about themselves as leaders, develop new skills, and build relationships with fellow leaders from across campus.

Leadership Practices is a six-part, cohort-style program designed for experienced managers (three to five years in role). Over the course of six weeks participants will actively engage with one another to develop skills in topics such as emotional intelligence, giving and receiving feedback, situational leadership, managing change, and inspiring and motivating others.
