Goal Setting

At the beginning of each performance year, supervisors and employers establish expectations for the year ahead. Individual performance goals should be aligned to the priorities of the department and describe specifically what each employee is accountable to achieve that year. Employees may also choose to work towards competencies in addition to or in place of goals.

Once agreed upon, the goals and competencies are documented in UR Talent Web. Employees and supervisors can log into urtalentweb.richmond.edu at any time of the year to add comments on accomplishments and progress towards the goals. Additionally, goals can be updated or removed if department or University priorities change throughout the year.
