Seasonal Roots Grocery Delivery

University of Richmond Human Resources, Recreation and Wellness, and the Office for Sustainability are excited to offer you the chance to get local, seasonal produce delivered to you on campus through Seasonal Roots.

Seasonal Roots is an online farmers market focused on connecting Virginia residents with local family farmers who use sustainable, humane practices. Through their delivery service, you can sign up to receive a weekly package of fresh, local vegetables, fruits, eggs, and more. Eat better, live better, and support local farmers.

All staff, faculty, and students are invited to sign up for a membership through the Seasonal Roots website. University of Richmond will cover the membership fee for the first 100 full-time faculty and staff who sign up. Be sure to enter the code SPIDER2017 to receive the University of Richmond membership discount.

Once you've signed up, you can choose which items you would like at the price point that best suits your household's needs. Packages will be delivered to campus once a week for your convenience. If you wish to receive bi-weekly deliveries instead of weekly deliveries, or if there's a week you'll be out of town, you may make adjustments to your schedule on the Seasonal Roots website. Please note that you will need to opt out for each week you do not wish to receive a delivery; otherwise, you will be charged.

You will be able to pick up your fresh, local produce every Thursday between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. outside the Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness.
